How we started

A foreign student and family from Cambodia wanted to learn Japanese.

Other Activities

Cultural exchange, including food cultures, parties in spring and winter (students, their families and friends gather round and have parties)
Cooking classes by students (once a year, e.g. Japanese, Filipino, Chinese cuisine)

Strength/Features

(1) We try to meet the needs of students and let them learn Japanese effectively by having private lessons or making some groups depending on their Japanese level. We also have a Japanese conversation group.
(2) People who want to join us are always welcome.
(3) We have no limit of participants’ age. (Only elementary students and older can participate)
(4) There is a good atmosphere not only during learning but also during tea-breaks, so we can make many friends and feel like we’re not alone.
(5) We have some foreign languages available because of our cooperation with NGO Network for Foreigners’ Assistance KOBE
