Hyogo Nihongo Volunteers' Network (HNVN)
The tragedy of the Hanshin Awaji Great Earthquake of January 17, 95 awoke people's voluntary spirit of helping each other, and then the groups to help non-native Japanese speakers with their Nihongo, or Japanese, have been born after another.
Amid this trend, “Hyogo Nihongo Volunteers' Network (HNVN)” was set up on July 27, 97 in order to:
- Strengthen the ties between supporting groups/individuals with each other in one network,
- Hold workshops and seminars for them.
We hope that our network grow further, seeking true globalization in local level and aiming to create the society where we live together with those who come from abroad.
