Cool Station Opening in HAT Kobe!
We’re opening a Cool Station in HAT Kobe to help conserve electricity!
Conservation of electricity will be required in the Kansai region due to the electricity shortage this summer.
To support citizens’ energy-saving efforts, the Hyogo International Association has designated the Hyogo International Plaza Resource Center as the HAT Kobe Cool Station. Residents of the HAT Kobe area are encouraged to use it as a refuge from the outside heat.
We hope many residents of the area will visit and enjoy reading or study in a comfortably cool environment while turning off their lights and air conditioners at home and supporting local electricity conservation.
Please visit the HAT Kobe Cool Station!
Period: From July 1st (Fri) to September 22nd (Thu), 2011
Closed on Sundays and national holidays.
Hours: Weekdays 9:00 – 20:00, Saturdays 9:00 – 17:00
Visit the Hyogo International Plaza Resource Center to view books, educational materials, DVDs, and videos in a comfortably cool environment.
