Lovely to be reunited with Emma in Hyogo!

　2024年度オックスブリッジ英語サマーキャンプのボランティア講師エマさんが、HIAに来てくれました！

　サマーキャンプでは、県内の子どもから大人まで様々な人と関わり、つながりを深めたエマさん。今春からALTとして来県し、川西市の小学校で働いています。

　充実した毎日を過ごしていると話すエマさんは、日本語の勉強にも励んでおり、流暢な日本語で自己紹介をしてくれました！サマーキャンプでお世話になったホストファミリーとも再会できたとのことです。

　兵庫県で生まれたつながりをきっかけに、数えきれないほどある選択肢の中から兵庫県を選んで戻ってきてくれたことが、私たちスタッフもとても嬉しく思います。

　エマさんの笑顔にたくさんの元気をもらいました。またいつでもHIAに来てくださいね！

 

Emma, who joined the Oxbridge English Summer Camp 2024, visited the HIA office!

During the camp, she interacted and deepened connections with a diverse range of people, from children to adults in the prefecture.

She came back to the prefecture this spring as an ALT and is working at an elementary school in Kawanishi City.

She said that she is leading a fulfilling everyday life. She is studying Japanese hard and did self-introduction in fluent Japanese. She also reunited with the host families who took care of her during the camp.

We are truly delighted that she chose to return to Hyogo out of countless options available to her.
